PLANO DE AULA

TEMA: Women in Society

OBJETIVO GERAL: Discutir acerca dos problemas/preconceitos enfrentados pelas mulheres na sociedade.

OBJETIVO ESPECÍFICO:

  • Ter a capacidade de compreender o aumento da valorização da mulher em todos os âmbitos da sociedade.

  • Compreender a importância do papel da mulher na sociedade atual.

  • Refletir sobre a discriminação e a opressão da mulher na sociedade.

  • Identificar mulheres que venceram as barreiras do gênero.

  • Desenvolver a habilidade da leitura.

  • Aprimorar a habilidade de compreensão textual.

  • Criar cartazes contra a desvalorização da mulher na sociedade.

  • Expor os cartazes aos demais alunos.

RECURSOS: Quadro, lápis de quadro, computador, slide, cartolina, revista, tesoura, cola, lápis hidrocor,

PROCEDIMENTOS METODOLÓGICOS

  • Iniciar a aula escrevendo a palavra “Woman" no quadro e pedir aos alunos que digam o que eles pensam ao ver essa palavra (quais palavras que vem na mente deles ao vê-la), quais outras palavras estão relacionadas a elas. Conforme eles vão dizendo as palavras o professor as escreverá no quadro em torno de Woman e pedirá que eles expliquem o motivo dessas palavras.

  • Mostrar uma foto do século passado e perguntar:

“Is it a recent photo?”

“What’s happening in this photo?”

“ Do you think this role is still related to women today? Why?”

“Did this situation change? How?”

  • Pedir para que eles comparem as fotos e dizer suas semelhanças ou diferenças.

  • Perguntar e fazer uma discussão em torno da seguinte pergunta: Do you believe that women are still undervalued in our society? Why?

  • Aplicar a atividade do guess who? com fotos das mulheres da próxima atividade. As fotos estarão com zoom e pedirei para que eles tentem adivinhar quem são elas. Os alunos terão três tentativas para acertar. A cada tentativa, será diminuído o zoom afim de facilitar a visualização e eles acertarem.

  • Entregar a cada aluno várias biografias adaptadas de mulheres que hoje em dia são reconhecidas e prestigiadas pela sociedade e diversas fotos para que eles relacionem as fotos com as suas biografias.

  • Cada biografia terá uma parte que ilustrará o preconceito de gênero que elas sofreram em algum momento da vida. Pedir que eles identifiquem e digam o que eles acham sobre isso.

  • Entregar um questionário, contendo perguntas em comum e pedir que eles escolham um das biografias e respondam sobre o que foi escolhido.

  • Entregar aos alunos pôsteres que retratam as conquistas da mulher principalmente no âmbito do trabalho, como um modelo que facilitará para a próxima atividade. Disponíveis em:

  • Fazer uma leitura das imagens, chamando a atenção dos alunos as cores, figuras, os personagens envolvidos, as ações e as frases para que construam e entendam o significados dos pôsteres.

  • Entregar cartolina, revistas, materiais de pinturas a fim de criarem cartazes contra a desvalorização da mulher na sociedade atual e expor a turma ou as demais turmas explicando a sua importância.[3]

Biographies

Malala Yousafzai

She was born on July 12, 1997, in Mingora, Pakistan. As a child, she started to fight for girls' education, which resulted in the Taliban issuing a death threat against her. On October 9, 2012, a gunman shot Malala when she was traveling home from school. She survived, and has continued to speak out on the importance of education. She was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize in 2013. In 2014, she was nominated again and won, becoming the youngest person to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.

Michelle Obama

She was born on on January 17, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois. She came from a poor family ,but it didn’t stop her, because she dedicated in her studies a lot, for this reason she could study Sociology and Law at Princeton and Harvard University. However, her life was not so easy, she has been victim of racism and undervalued to be a woman lawyer for many years.Some years later, she got involved in politics with her husband and in 2009, Her husband became the President of United States of America and She became the First Lady.

Taís Araújo

She was born on November 25, 1978 in Rio de Janeiro. When she was a child, she was victim of bullying, because she was the only black girl in her school. She started her career as actress at 8, however at 18, she was the first black woman to be a protagonist in a Brazilian soap opera in 1996 with Xica da Silva. After this, she became famous and made a lot of other soap operas. Since 2015, she and her husband speak out women empowerment and equality between races.

Marta Vieira da Silva

She was born on February 19, 1986, in Dois Riachos, Alagoas, Brazil. She developed her soccer skills via street games with other neighborhood children, but most of time, the boys avoided her to play with them because soccer was not a game for girls. She moved to Rio de Janeiro to train with the Vasco da Gama women's club at the age of 14. At age 17, she moved to Sweden to play soccer there.In 2009, she came to Brazil in order to play with Santos. She is also Brazilian female soccer team player and because of her talent, she won the first of a record five consecutive FIFA World Player of the Year Awards in 2006.
